Dr. Kristine Gerster

Kristine Gerster, DVM received her degree from Ross University in 1991 after doing her undergraduate work at MSU.

She opened Towne & Country Animal Hospital in 1994 with her husband, Dr. Kurt Gerster. They have 2 grown children and currently share their empty nest with 3 dogs.

Dr. Gerster enjoys the challenge of emergency medicine and surgery as well as routine surgery. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading, spending time outdoors and visiting family and friends.



Dr. Kurt Gerster
Kurt Gerster, DVM graduated from the University of Arizona in 1987 with a BS in Animal Science. He received his DVM from Ross University in 1991.

After meeting his wife in vet school, they married and moved back to Michigan and practiced in the Detroit area until they opened Towne & Country Animal Hospital.

Dr. Gerster enjoys general and internal medicine, outside of work he plays on several basketball teams. He also enjoys traveling, running and cycling.



Dr. Jennifer Sharbowski

Jennifer Sharbowski, DVM earned both of her degrees from Michigan State University. She graduated in 1997 with a BS in Zoology followed by her DVM in 2001 from the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine.

She worked for 10 years in general practice in Dearborn Heights before joining Towne and Country in 2012. She has worked ER for the past 6 years and enjoys the "dark side".

She lives in Milford with her tween and teen daughters. They enjoy reading, watching movies, camping and kayaking. She also shares her home with two dogs, three cats and two guinea pigs.



Dr. Natasha Lubinski

Natasha Lubinski, DVM is a 2016 graduate from Michigan State University. She grew up in Minnesota and received her bachelors in biology from Michigan State.

She is a Spartan at heart and enjoys keeping up with their football and basketball programs.

Her special interests in veterinary medicine include dermatology, ultrasound, and staff and client education.

In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy taking Maple, their Goldendoodle, for hikes at the local parks.



Dr. Aaron Perkins
Aaron Perkins, DVM started working at Towne and Country in his current capacity in 2010 (He was initially exposed to veterinary medicine working as a veterinary assistant at Towne and Country during the summer of 2001.). He enjoys the variety of cases that come through the doors on a daily basis.

Dr. Perkins completed his undergraduate education at the University of Oklahoma and subsequently attended vet school at Michigan State University.

He lives in Brighton with his wife, son, and three cats. He enjoys playing golf and softball, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with his friends and family.
